More than ever, Information Technology and Communication are globally changing all aspects of society. Their exponential evolution is allowing the development of applications and increasingly interactive specialized tools. The Drone-based Earth Observation systems sector is where this evolution has had one of his greatest impacts. These drones appear as a new tool that complement previously existing platforms, satellites and manned aerial means (helicopters, light aircraft). Currently there exists a growing number of specific systems and applications, given the large number of advantages they present in terms of investment and operation costs, spatial resolution, agility and temporal resolution, etc. Within this field, fixed-wing drones have higher productivity (due to their greater autonomy) than multicopters, which makes them more suitable for studying large areas.
EXODRONICS was born in 2018 from the strategic alliance of the MAS VINYOLES VENTURE FACTORY venture builder and the CATUAV company, which constitutes the technological heart of the company.

The EXODRONICS’ team has more than 18 years’ experience in the UAV market. They have been pioneers in the European field in civil drone technology for professional use, developing and producing drone platforms in addition to providing services associated with remote sensing. The product development, testing and manufacturing tasks, are located at the Barcelona Drone Center. It is considered to be unique as a European private center with access to Segregated Airspace near Barcelona.
After an initial period focused on the company construction, team building, and the development of its first products – both UAV and the IoT platform of value-added services -, the company will make its official presentation to the market in Barcelona on November 29th at the Drone Center meeting.
This event will be attended by experts and professionals from the national aerospace sector and related technology sectors. EXODRONICS will take this opportunity to present its new EXO C2-L product, the new professional fixed-wing UAV aircraft for observation. EXO C2-L has been designed with maximum monitoring performance and high productivity, for monitoring, mapping and land observation services, over considerable territorial or linear extensions.
