Montserrat founded Intergroup in 2010 following her passion for technology across industry segments. She has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, global sales partnerships channels and direct investments in fast-moving businesses catering to the high-technology, energy, security, critical infrastructure, aerospace, IoT, telecom and information technology sectors.

Before founding Intergroup, she led businesses in Asia, Latam, and Europe as global responsible for mobile solutions sales management at Nokia Siemens and startet her carreer at Bain & Company and Henkel in Munich.

She is a certified Non Executive Director, chairwoman and has a double degree in financial mathematics and MSc in BE-Information Technologies.

Montserrat is a Swiss and Spanish national. She loves sailing, nature, architecture and has an infinite curiosity about new technologies.

Michael joined Intergroup as Operating Partner to induce the performance in our client’s direct investments portfolios by leading Scale-Up Services and supporting Buy &Build, as well as M&A projects from a Technology and go-to-market point of view.

He brings considerable global B2B -business and technological-experience including end-to-end portfolios SW/HW/Services, SW-Solutions, SaaS, Professional Services, R&D/PS-Outsourcing and SW R&D. He operates in an ecosystems of High Tech Vendors, Retailers, Banks, BPOs, Telcos, and System Integrators

Michael has spent 25 years as an international senior business leader with Fortune 500 service providers and technology companies, including Philips, T-Mobile, Cisco Systems, Avaya and NCR.

Michael is an experienced SEC controlled exec board member (NCR), was non-exec chairman of NCR Japan, non-exec board member of Avaya Deutschland GmbH&Co.KG. He also serves as advisory board member of the London Technology Club in London.

Martin is a Partner at Intergroup Partners based in Tallinn, Estonia. At Intergroup, Martin brings expertise in investment portfolio management, tools and governance, preparing companies for scale-ups & capital raising and helping to connect Baltic and Nordic companies with international investors and strategic partners.

Previously, Martin has managed investment funds for over 20 years, among others, at asset management subsidiaries of Danske Bank, Sampo Bank and If P&C Insurance Group. As a management board member, Martin has been instrumental in setting up, managing and developing three investment firms. In recent years, Martin has consulted PE/VC funds, institutional investors, family offices, angel investors and other clients in areas of investing, fundraising and company development.

He has served as a board member in Estonian PE/VC association (EstVCA), launched PE/VC courses in universities and enjoys mentoring. Martin holds a MSc degree in Economics and Finance from Stockholm School of Economics in Sweden.

Ugo provides profound expertise in the realms of energy transition and mobility solutions, coupled with extensive experience in stakeholder management, general business management, strategic reorientation, M&A, innovation management and company transformation. These skills have been cultivated over two decades of serving in both executive and non-executive capacities in prominent international companies and groups, including Siemens, NEC, Thales, ASTM, Yunex and Mundys.

Jack brings long-term relationships with key Japanese industry stakeholders with an insightful understanding about open innovation, extensive technology and growth investments in Japan and USA
After leading corporate strategy planning at Hitachi, Ltd., Jack has led CVC investment activities and technology scouting from universities in North America in the social infrastructure, life sciences, and semiconductor fields. He has been strongly involved in the incubation of university startups at Tohoku University, and became investor as well and taking part in the management of medical startups.
Jack holds an MBA from Cornell University. He likes traveling, hot springs in Japan, nature and hiking.

Makoto represents IGP’s broad network of international Japanese companies and is looking to present Japanese enterprises and investors with innovative and suitable European businesses.

He joins IGP with long-lasting management and leadership experiences in the Japanese and international technology sectors. He worked 20 years at Sony based in Tokyo, London, and New York and started working in 2001 in senior leadership roles within global IT companies like Akamai Technologies, IBM, Schneider Electric, Dell, NCR, DXC Technologies, and most recently Extreme Networks.

He has a BBA from Keio Gijyuku University in Japan, where he studied computer science, economics and business, complemented by his studies of global business development at Harvard University. He enjoys sailing, tennis and is performing the Chano-Yu Tea Ceremony.

Mr. Arun Sobti serves as Partner, North America at Intergroup Partners as part of a global network with key decision makers in service providers and Internet/Software companies.

He has been a senior executive with global business experience in wireless / telecom and Internet/software industries: More than a decade of running small and medium sized companies ($3B) as a President, CEO and/or Chairman. An additional decade as General Manager of running global businesses and company wide strategies for a large multi-national company. Head of global research, development and standards for a large wireless multi-national company.
